Understanding The Bill of Rights

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution states that “Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.”

THINK: What it would be like to live in a country where the government does not guarantee its citizens a “free press?” To what types of news stories or articles would they be denied access?
