1. Force Feeding of Anorexics - Hospitals, Rehab Centers and Therapists should be allowed to force feed anorexics.
2. Use of Marijuana for medical purposes- Marijuana should be legal for all medical purposes if needed
3. Assisted Suicide / Euthenasia- It should be legal for assistance in suicide or wanted euthenasia.
Reasons why it's good:
1. Its a good debatable topic.. you can't force somebody to eat, but if they're anorexic and are ill you have to.
2. Its controversial and because its an illegal drug that can help you or cure a disease.
3. Some people argue that you have the right or wrong to your death but the law says you don't.

Torture in Interrogation
Resolved: Torture in interrogation of foriegn prisoners should be an acceptable practice for suspected terrorists.
We think that this topic would be interesting to debate because it is a current issue during the war on terrorism.

Resolved:
Policies should be changed so that people who use self defense are still held accountable for their actions.
It is a common misconception among most people regarding self defense that may potentially affect anyone.

Resolved:
Foriegners should be allowed to run for the United States presidency.
This is an interesting topic and will allow us to learn more about our political system.

4.Naming and Shaming Sex Offenders

1. Foreign-born Presidents
• The constitution should be altered in order to allow foreign born people to run for president.
• America is based upon the grounds that everyone has equal rights, but because foreign born people cannot become president, the rights are not equal.
2. Limits of Debate
• Freedom of speech is part of our constitutional rights and should be allowed even if people disagree with what you are saying.
• Debating should be an open forum and should allow people to voice any evidence that pertains to the case despite the common opinions.
3. Detention on the grounds of mental illness
• The Mental Health Bill should be passed because it would give the citizens the safety guaranteed by the constitution and would help people who need it.
• Mental illness is becoming more common in our society and it should be decided upon what the grounds for hospitalization are.
1.)violent video games
Violent video games should be banned as a federal law, and a fine would be made to the creator, seller, and/or player of these games.
2.)exams
Different forms of assessment should be made in place of exams depending on what the student excels most at.
3.)prisoners right to vote
Prisoners should have the right to vote, and access to the political community. This would be a federal law.

1.Pornography- Censorship has been a hot issue in the United States. This debate is a great way to debate censorship in a very raw form. It uses the internet, videos, and magazines as a medium and we could debate the importance of censorship over the different mediums as well.
2.Prostitution- Should prostitution be legal in the United States? Currently it is only legal in a very small part of Nevada. On one hand it is immoral and can be dangerous. However it is the person's choice to engage in the activity and they must make thier own decisions. We will debate if people should be allowed to make thier own decisions, or if the moral values of the United States should be lowered.
3.Minimum voting age of 16- At present in the UK for General, local and European elections, as well as referenda, you must be 18 to vote. This topic has been written from a UK perspective, but the arguments can easily be adapted to apply to the situation in other countries too. We will debate saying whether somebody at the age of 16 has or does not have to maturity to vote for the president
4. Sex offenders naming and shaming- At the moment, in the UK for example, a national register of sex offenders exists, which is only accessible to the police for the purposes of criminal detection. Whether or not we shoudl out the names of sex offenders and let it be known.

1-blood sports should be banned- we shouldnt be able to kill animals for sport because it could lead to extinction of an animal.
