i think its good that american families can get more money back. each family gets $900 back per child.. i think that the tax rebate policy will work well although later on it might crash. we have to think into the future also but for now i think its a good idea to pass it.
I do agree with what the President is trying to do, and I feel it is an attempt to increase consumer spending to help promote growth in the economy. In a time where unemplyoment is nearly perfect, this could be the next step in the Presidents' plan to create as productive and stable economy to potentially push voters back into the Republicans favor. I don't necessarily agree with Baucus'plan because I feel it is unfair to single out income groups and leave the wealthiest income groups with no rebate at all.
I think the economic aid package is a swell idea. And the most grateful thing about is it that the Republicans and Democrats actually agree for once. I think Bush needs to step down. He's basically terminating the idea with his interference. He always seems to be against good things.
I agree with what the President is going to do. This plan will help the taxpayers.
i think its cool that alot of senior citizens are going to get tax rebates even if they arent covered

I agree with the presients plan, becuase it looks like an attempt to increase spending, ultimately boosting the economy. It is also good for the individual family that they are recieving better tax rebates. but I still dont think the idea of giving money to the unemployed is a good one. Its just my opinion
I think that it is a good plan as long as it works. Anything to stimulate the economy right now would be great considering the large unemployment numbers and poor market
I do agree that the president needs to fix the econemy but i don't think that this is a good way to do it. By taking away neccesary care for the elderly and the unemployed than the poor people who need help in our country are only going to become more poor. We need to find a way to fix our ecenomic stand point without harming others who already need help financilly as it it.

I agree with what President Bush is doing. Giving the common middle-class citizen money will help get the money flowing in the economy. I also agree with Senator Max Baucus said about not slowing the economy down, as it seems that this is what is happening to our economy.
I think it is good for people with kids. but isnt it raising taxes or something. i dont get wat exactly is goin on.
I don't think that a rebate will really cause people to go out and spend money to get the economy booming again. If anything, people will put it into the bank and save it. And while our government is already trillions of dollars in debt, this may not be the best time to be giving out money.

I think that the rebate plan is a good idea. Almost every family could use more money and the rebate would do just that. This might also increase peoples spending which should help the economy later on. If some of the really wealthy don't get a rebate then I don't think that is totally unfair because there are families who need money a lot more than the wealthy.
I think that it is a good idea on the President's part to try and boost the economy. I am not sure if giving money back to the people and hopeing that they recerculate it back into the economy is the best way to insure that the money gets to where it should be, but it is definitly a start.
I think that the tax rebate policy will be a positive effect on Americans. People complain about how expensive it is to live where they are so it will be helpful. People complain about money so much that it will help financially for people to afford where they live.
I think that it is good that there making a better tax rebate plan to help families. I don't really like the idea of giving money to the unemployed.
i think that it is going to help the economy. I think that it is good, because some families are struggling, and it would be nice to see them be happy by getting their tax refund and seeing that they got more money back. the only thing is that some people will disagree to giving the people that dont work equal or more amounts of money to people who do.
i think giving money to the unemployed is a good idea.. depending on the situation though.. wether they're unemployed because they didnt get an education or unemployed because they lost their job. either way though i think its a good way to the road to ending poverty.
In theory it is a great plan. It has worked in the past with less money being given back and it is likly to work again. If the rebate money is used to spend and put back into the economy as it is intended to do, it will help the economic problems that we face. If the peopel who recieve rebates take the money and put it on thier mortage or pay of debts we will find outselves in an even worse problem. There shoudl be a regulation on what you can spend your money on unless you and in dire need of paying off your debts. i also belive that all should get paid if they decide to do so. The rich should get a little less then the poor modeslty and some shoudl get kicked back to social security but encouraged to spend. There are conflicting arguments and ideas on what and how to get this into the pen and nopthgin is finalized yet. If we work it out with the house and senate and they come up with the best possible soulution for success possible then everythign shoudl work out. 150 billion dollars is nothign to rush into spending.....It could be great but could also have huge detriments
I do agree that a new plan is necessary in order to help our economy and American families. It is good that the plan will help those who are unemployed and give benefits to a larger group of people. I don't agree with the changes that Baucus is putting forward.
I agree with this plan. I think this plan is a good idea because it sounds like it'll be giving money back to families, and most families in America could really use the money, especially the ones with more children.
